Quick-thinking host Sylvia Gordon (daughter of Fundraising Chair Dick Gordon) didn’t miss a beat, starting the fundraising auction during dinner. While the orchestra had to leave due to the weather, Sylvia led the auction with flair, selling beautiful art and generous donations from sponsors. The result? Thousands of dollars raised to support the continued beauty of the Bridge of Flowers.
